Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and VPN Master Pro ("Bible Chat", "we", "us", or "our") and govern your use of the Bible Chat mobile app, websites, and related services (the "Service"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

3. Your account

You may create an account using email, Sign in with Apple, or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Provide accurate information and notify us of any unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.

4. Subscriptions & billing

Some features require a paid subscription ("Premium"). Subscriptions are sold as in-app purchases processed by Apple through the App Store and managed via RevenueCat.

• Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Billing: your Apple ID account is charged at confirmation of purchase and at each renewal.
• Free trials: if offered, any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Manage / cancel: manage or cancel in your device's Subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds: purchases are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policies; we generally cannot issue refunds directly.
• Price changes: we may change subscription pricing; changes apply to future billing periods and, where required, with notice and your consent.

5. License to use the app

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use.

6. Scripture & third-party content

The Service makes Bible translations and other content (text, audio, video, meditations, and reading plans) available to you. Many Bible translations and other materials are copyrighted by their respective publishers and rights holders and are provided under license. This content is for your personal study and devotional use only. You may not copy, redistribute, sell, or create derivative works from it except as expressly permitted by the applicable rights holder or by law (for example, limited quotation permitted by a translation's license terms).

7. Your content

"Your Content" means content you submit, such as chat messages, prayer requests, comments, and reactions. You retain ownership of Your Content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, display, and distribute Your Content as needed to operate and provide the Service (for example, processing your messages to generate AI responses, or displaying a prayer request to the community where you choose to share it).

You are responsible for Your Content and represent that you have the rights to submit it and that it does not violate these Terms or any law. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, harassing, hateful, or abusive purpose, or to post such content in community features.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Attempt to access, disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use the Service to develop a competing product, or to train machine-learning models, without our permission.
• Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.

9. AI content disclaimer

The Service uses artificial intelligence (provided by OpenAI) to generate responses, including text and voice. AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate, and may not reflect any particular denomination or theological tradition. They are provided for general reflection and study only and are not a substitute for professional, pastoral, theological, medical, mental-health, financial, or legal advice. Do not rely on AI responses for important decisions, and always verify scripture against a trusted translation. If you are in crisis or experiencing a medical or mental-health emergency, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional.

10. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, logos, and trademarks (excluding licensed Bible content and Your Content), is owned by VPN Master Pro and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted to you, we reserve all rights.

11. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Apple, Google, OpenAI, RevenueCat, and Branch. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any content (including AI output) is accurate or reliable.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VPN Master Pro and its officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or [US$50]. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VPN Master Pro and its affiliates from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms or any law.

15. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

16. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Governing Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute will be resolved in the courts located in [Venue / Courts], except where applicable law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date, and where appropriate provide additional notice in the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
